It is wonderful to know that someone has taken the time to honor those men who served and died for our country. Thank you for sharing this dramatic time of your life and giving those who would never have known what you went through an education.

Great site, I would recommend perhaps changing either the font color or the text color though. It's kind of hard on the eyes.

Thank you for your work on this site .I am proud to have served with 1/27 in Vietnam during Operation Allenbrook.I was a new in-country PFC when I was sent to 1/27 on loan from FLC . I never really knew where in Vietnam I was until I read Dr. Jarvis' book "Youngblood" and saw the maps. I was assigned to work the LZ at Regimental Hqs. and attached to H&S Co. and Hqs.Co.or so I was told . I then was "loaned to"1/7 on Hill 10 for a few weeks and returned to 1/27s compound for about 1 1/2 more months.During th s time with 1/27 I was promoted to L/CPL for my efforts during Op. Allenbrook. I met a guy with the handle of "Junior" during my stay with 1/27 and later wound up on R&R in Manila with him , but, have since forgotten his last name . You guys from 1/27 tre ted me very well during those days , and I never forgot the commradarie I felt even if some of you did call me "pogue" when you asked me to get you anything.Semer Fi !
